I would like to first start this off by saying that there is NO “secret formula” to creating a successful business on-line, however, there are certain things you need to do to reach that level of success that you are looking for.

I know you have probably seen several programs that offer to teach you how to market your business with little or no work involved, or that if you use their training methods you will generate some rediculous amount of money overnight. Right? Well that is simply not true, what you are paying for is to learn the basics of on-line marketing which you could learn yourself for free if you just took the time to research it.

Since you are reading this article I guess you have done your due dilligence which means you are dedicated to truly creating a successful on-line business.

So how do I create a successful On-Line Business?


1. Well first and foremost you will need to find a product or service that you actually enjoy. For example, if you are trying to sell beauty products or health foods and know absolutely nothing about either one of them, you are going to have a tough time making any money. So be sure you know something about the product or service that you are selling so you do not have to spend too much time researching it.

2. Now that you have your product or service it is time to LEARN how to market it the right way! This is the most important aspect of creating a successful on-line business, and yet for some reason the majority of people seem to overlook this step. I don’t understand it, if no one know about your business how do you expect to make any money?

What is the right way to Market?

You need to start off by identifying your “target market”. In other words, who is the most likely to purchase your product or service? Is it men, women, people in their 20’s, 30’s, etc?

Starting out in on-line marketing people tend to “spam” a lot. In other words, posting your ads in forums or blogs that have nothing to do with your product or service, or sending out emails to people who never requested information about your product, targeting keywords that have absolutely nothing to do with your product, etc. I’m sure you get the point, be honest about what you are selling and don’t try to trick or deceive people. I highly recomend not using this method for several reason.

1. For the simple fact that yeah sure you might make a sale here and there however its not long term, and that’s the goal here, Right?2. People see ads all day and all night, they automatically ignore 99% of them, the last thing people want to see is another random email pitching them a new business opportunity that they have no interest in.3. You will waste much of your precious time and see little if any results from your efforts.
So what Methods Actually Work?

It’s a simple fact that people buy products and/or services from people the know, like, and trust. Therefore, you need to start building relationships with people. Post on blogs, or forums related to your product, once people start seeing you around providing good information, helpful information they will be more inclined to click on your link.

Make videos!! I know people hate to see themselves on camera and definately don’t want the rest of the world to see them. However, video marketing is very powerful, actually one of the most powerful marketing techniques you can use and its free! You can dominate Google searches with your videos if you learn the correct way to use them. (I go into more detail in my free training, and show you exactly what to do). When people search for your product or service and your video pops up, that creates a connection between you and possibly a future client or sale.

This is extremely powerful because now they are not just simply reading something someone wrote on a website but now they are actually seeing you. It is much easier for someone to purchase something from you if they feel like they know you and that they can trust you.

So just get over it and make some videos! You will thank me later.
